Our Degafloor Flake System is a methyl methacrylate (MMA) decorative resin surface flooring. It combines the durability and ultra-fast cure time of MMA resin, with coloured flakes for an outstanding finish.
Degafloor’s Flake decorative resin flooring is suitable for busy commercial areas with a high footfall, where durability and aesthetics are essential. This system is ideal for supermarkets, retail and commercial including education and leisure.
The resin surface flooring system
The decorative resin surface flooring finish is available in a wide selection of standard finishes. We can also match it to your existing flooring, including vinyl, terrazzo and ceramic tiles. It is available as a smooth or textured slip-resistant finish for many sectors.
We install our multi-layered resin surface flooring system in three steps onto the prepared substrate. These steps primer, a body coat mixed with decorative flakes and a protective seal coat. We lay this at 4mm thick. Our Flake System is suitable for medium to heavy-duty areas and provides an attractive yet practical decorative resin flooring solution to your chosen environment.
We encapsulate two coats of clear sealer into all our Degafloor MMA systems, including the Resin Flake System.
If you need flooring for safety our Flake System For is available with a textured, slip-resistant finish to produce decorative resin flooring.
Resin flooring installers
At Degafloor we have a UK-wide network of Approved Installers. All installers are trained and experienced in Degafloor MMA. We’re also registered with The Resin Flooring Association (FeRFA) and have our products featured in the NBS Source (including the Flake decorative resin flooring solution).
Cleaning, maintenance and technical advice

All fully cured Degafloor systems are inert and do not create a hazard to the environment in use or during end-of-life disposal. Full environmental product declarations, in line with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, are available on request.

A seamless and decorative resin flooring, the Flake System is available in a wide range of standard mixes – all with a blend of three to four colours. Bespoke flake mixes are also available to match your branding, interior design scheme or existing flooring such as vinyl, terrazzo, ceramic tiles and other resins. The flake options listed on this page are classed as standard colours and costed at a premium per kilogram as they are made to order.
