Case studyDegafloor supplied MMA resin flooring to a local school, Arthur Mellows Village College, for over 13 years. Much of the school already benefits from the previously installed hardwearing resin flooring systems. When they began building a new key stage 4 block, the Degafloor Flake system was once again the preferred choice for the new development, having already been installed across a large proportion of the college.

Degafloor’s MMA resin has shown its resilience over the years and gives the college floors a decorative finish that can be chosen from a standard range of colours or created in a bespoke finish. The college upholds a strong ethos to drive students to achieve their maximum potential, which is mirrored throughout the college’s state-of-the-art facilities. Our specialist contractor, RESYN, installed an extremely durable, highly aesthetic floor finish to complement these facilities.
Degafloor’s MMA resin has a proven track record of longevity in educational establishments, with almost 50 installations to date. Our MMA systems offer excellent resilience to withstand large numbers of people and heavy machinery with a seamless, easy-to-install surface that minimises frequent repair. Before the project, RESYN installed a Retinol screed to accommodate thermal underfloor heating, using the Degafloor Flake system which totalled more than 200m2.
